Sacred choral music education for homeschoolers.
We are created to sing.

We must teach our children to sing.
Laudate Homeschool Choir is a choir created by homeschool parents (themselves homeschool graduates) for homeschooled children in the greater Jacksonville, FL area. Founded in 2025, the choir seeks to train students in the beautiful tradition of sacred choral music, pursuing musical excellence whilst providing Christian community for the students. “Laudate” is the Latin word for “praise;” there are many beautiful choral renditions entitled “Laudate Dominum,” or “Praise the Lord.” We believe music is a gift from the Lord that ought to be given back to Him—a “sacrifice of praise,” as the Psalms say. We focus on learning sacred and classical works, utilizing solfege to teach students to read music.
Two choir divisions.

Alleluia Choir
The Alleluia Choir, for children ages 7-11, rehearses for 45 minutes each week. Choristers learn 3-5 sacred and classical works per semester.
Tuition is $200/semester, plus a $25 materials fee.

Gloria Choir
The Gloria Choir, for children ages 10-18, rehearses for 1.5 hours each week. Choristers learn 7-8 sacred and classical works per semester.
Tuition is $275/semester, plus a $25 materials fee.

Gloria Choir (ages 10-18) rehearsals: Tuesdays, 3:00-4:30pm
January 13: First choir rehearsal
March 31: Easter break, no rehearsals
April 7: Last rehearsal
April 9 (Thursday): Mandatory dress rehearsal.

April 10 (Friday): Spring Concert
Fall 2025 Schedule
Alleluia Choir (ages 7-11) rehearsals: Tuesdays, 2:00-2:45pm

September 2: First choir rehearsal
November 11: Veteran’s Day, no rehearsals
(if we need to cancel a fall rehearsal for any reason, such as a hurricane, we will use this day as a make up day)
November 25: Thanksgiving week, no rehearsals
December 2: Last rehearsal
December 4 (Thursday): Mandatory dress rehearsal.

December 5 (Friday): Christmas Concert
